TotalEnergies Uganda launches a campaign for motorcycle lubricants
TotalEnergies Marketing Uganda launched a new campaign, “Kyuusa Gear ne Hi-Perf,” aimed at strengthening its position in the country’s motorcycle lubricants market. The initiative focused on the company’s Hi-Perf engine oils, which are formulated for Uganda’s two-wheeler segment. The Hi-Perf product line includes Hi-Perf 4T 500 20W50, Hi-Perf Bajaj 20W50 and Hi-Perf 2T 500 16B05L.
The Hi-Perf oil features formulation technology tailored for the various riding conditions motorcyclists encounter when maneuvering through congested traffic, long distance delivery operators or bike owners since it endures high temperature, heavy-loads and protracted operational hours.
“It’s important that even as I speak about Hi-Perf Oils and motorcycles, I share a concern about the substantial percentage of trauma admissions to our hospitals that are motorcycle related. Through the years, the media has shared that up to 70% of casualty admissions month on month are motorcycle related. We hope that as motorcycle riders embrace the culture of care for the engine of the motorcycles with the use of Hi-Perf oils, this will in turn trigger more caution about how they ride the motorcycle and thus lessen the number of instances on the road,” said Joseph Wechuli, Ag. TotalEnergies Marketing Services Uganda Managing Director.
“We want tirelessly to develop high performing and reliable but also affordable oils that truly support the everyday needs of our riders and help them to go further safely and confidently. Our new Hi-Perf oil is crafted to meet the unique needs of Ugandan riders, helping them go further safely and confidently,” said Allan Omuron, Specialist Manager at TotalEnergies Marketing Services Uganda.
