Total Tanzania launches USD. 20 million oil blending plant

Total Tanzania Limited has launched an oil blending plant worth USD. 20 million. This plant, as reported by Lubezine last year, was acquired from Petrolube Tanzania

The lubricant blending plant will host an internal laboratory and a 2 200t tank farm enabling it to process 22 000t of lubricants and 2000t of grease per year.

The plant was officially inaugurated by Tanzania’s Minister of Trade George Joseph Kakunda and the director of investments of Total.

“We are here to share with you another investment milestone for Total in Tanzania as we announce the official launch of this plant which marks a total global investment of more than US$180 million in Tanzania over the last two years,” said Tarik Moufaddal, Managing Director of Total Tanzania.
