Total Petroleum Ghana Plc holds a professional mechanic educational workshop (Edu tour)
Total Petroleum Ghana Plc held its second edition of Total Ghana’s Mechanic Educational Workshop dubbed ‘Edu Tour’. This workshop benefited over 1200 professional mechanics from Sofoline, Suame Magazine 1 & 2, Dichemso, and Asafo in Kumasi and Kasoa, Odorna, Tema Community 9, Ashaiman Fitterline, and High Tension in Accra.
The campaign emphasised the quality and benefits of the new TotalEnergies lubricant packaging while educating the mechanics on selecting the best engine oils for their customers to enhance efficiency and value for their money. It was also an occasion to notify mechanics about the brand’s identity transition from Total to TotalEnergies.
Between February 2022 and May 2022, TotalEnergies Kenya conducted a similar kind of workshop for mechanics in Kenya. The workshop aimed at equipping mechanics with knowledge regarding engine oil servicing and vehicle diagnostic. The program also seeks to empower mechanics in the informal automotive sector by creating growth and skills development opportunities.
Most car owners rely on mechanics to advise them on vehicle maintenance. Their skill development, therefore, means improved vehicle maintenance and it is commendable that oil marketing companies are at the forefront of equipping mechanics with better skills.
