Afton Launches an Additive for Hydrogen Heavy-Duty Engines

Afton Chemical Corporation, a manufacturer of additives for fuels and lubricants, announced the launch of HiTEC 12582, an additive for hydrogen heavy-duty engines. HiTEC 12582 performance additive is designed for hydrogen internal combustion engines, eliminating the excess chemistry needed for fuel-agnostic lubricants. Engine oils formulated with HiTEC 12582 provide performance in the critical areas of water handling, corrosion resistance, pre-ignition and oxidation whilst maintaining the durability that all modern engines require.
