ICONIC to distribute Chevron Oronite additives in Brazil
Chevron Oronite has announced that ICONIC Base Oil Solutions will be its official distributor in Brazil. The agreement involves the sale of OLOA® lubricant additives, OGA® aftermarket gasoline fuel additives, and PARATONE® viscosity modifiers. The partnership with ICONIC Base Oil Solutions will bring value-added service to customers by combining the Chevron Base Oil portfolio with the Chevron Oronite additive portfolio.

ICONIC will start distributing Oronite’s additives through this new agreement in June 2025. Previously, Caldic has been the local distributor of Oronite products in Brazil. Caldic is a distribution company for the life and material sciences markets. Established in 1970 in the Netherlands, the company is currently a global distributor of specialty chemicals and ingredients for the food and nutrition, personal care, pharmaceutical, and industrial formulation markets with operations in Europe, Latin America, North America, and Asia Pacific.
ICONIC Base Oil Solutions, the new distributor, is a business unit of the ICONIC company that works independently from the company’s lubricant structure. This unit has a specialized team in the portfolio of base oils, and it runs two base oil terminals integrated with the Port of Rio de Janeiro and the main highways connecting the North, Center-West, and South of Brazil. ICONINC Base Oil Solutions supplies Group I, Group II, Group III base oils, and naphthenic oils.
