Toyota Tanzania partners with Afroil to distribute Toyota genuine motor oil

Toyota Tanzania Ltd has announced its three-year partnership with Afroil Investment Company Limited as an authorized distributor of Toyota Genuine Motor Oil (TGMO) in Tanzania.

Toyota Genuine Motor Oil is manufactured by Toyota for Toyota vehicles. Other brands of lubricants manufactured by Toyota are Lexus Genuine Motor Oils (LGMO) and Yamalube for motorcycles.

During the launch, Toyota Tanzania Group Brand Manager Nadah Dhiyebi said, “Toyota Tanzania’s mission has been to deliver the best customer experience, quality and network. Through this alliance, we are expanding our network and ensuring our lubricants are easily and conveniently accessible to all our customers.”

Lutfi Binkleb, the executive director of AFROIL, said, “We are delighted as a local Tanzanian company to partner with a global brand like Toyota. We have stations distributed in all regions of the country, and our distribution network is expanding at a fast rate.”

AFROIL has a chain of over 20 fuel stations nationwide, of which TGMO is now available at each of these. AFROIL is an oil marketing company established in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, in October 2008. A primary business focus is importation, transportation and distribution of fuel products. AFROIL has a retail network of more than 20 service stations providing employment opportunities to over 300 people.
