Total partners with Autofast for car care services

Customers will now access the premium car maintenance services at select TOTAL service stations thanks to a partnership with Autofast, s Pan-African quick service franchise network developed by Toyota Tsusho Corporation/CFAO Group.

Car maintenance in Kenya, and Africa in general, has been perceived as an expensive task with a high percentage of customers suffering from poor services.

As a response CFAO and TOTAL have partnered with the intention of providing premium automotive parts, batteries and tyres; premium lubricants through TOTAL’s Quartz range; modern equipment that ensures comprehensive and accurate car diagnosis; and highly-trained technicians with strong expertise.

According to Total Kenya’s Managing Director Olagoke Aluko, customers will enjoy more professional car care services.

“This partnership is a demonstration of Total’s desire to continuously offer motorists value for money while guaranteeing quality. The partnership allows Total to offer motorists quality parts from the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) resulting in significant savings in time, cost and increased car lifespan,” he said during the launch.

The brands for parts that will be available at the service stations include Denso, Aisin, Valeo and Philips. The battery brands include Yuasa and Fulmen, and tyre brands include Michelin, BFGoodrich and Tigar.

These car care services will be available at the Madaraka, Ngong Road, Karen and Muthaiga Total service stations.

Their partnership also covers five African countries which are Kenya, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon and Nigeria, with Autofast having a plan to launch in other countries within the Sub-Saharan Africa.
