Seahorse lubricant bags international certificate for quality management system

Seahorse Lubricant Industries Limited has made a significant impact on the Nigerian lubricants market by bagging the highly rated ISO 9001: 2015 Certification in “QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM”.

This achievement, according to a report published by Vanguard News Nigeria, comes barely two years after they launched their presence in the West African nation. Seahorse is the manufacturers of Seahorse, Mega Crown and MegaRich range of lubricants.

In 2018, the company won several awards including “2018 Best Transmission Oil” award,  “2018 Most Customer Friendly Brand of the Year.”

The Chairman/CEO of Seahorse Lubricants Industries, HRM Dr Ebuka Onunkwo, who was recently made a fellow in Strategic Management by Institute Oil and Gas Research and Hydrocarbon Studies engaged the services of an ISO Consultant, who trained the entire management staff of Seahorse Lubricants Industries. This was followed by an audit by professional auditors from the Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON), who issued the ISO certificate to the company.

Speaking on the development, Onunkwo said: “ISO Certificate was given because Seahorse met all the requirements and procedure for the award of the certificate, following a rigorous exercise towards the certification.”

The certification, he noted, is dear to Seahorse as they to continually improve their product quality and services. “Protection of our environment and contribution to society are at the forefront of our priorities,” he said.

He added that the company would not compromise its standards.
