PetroChina’s Kunlun Lubricants has announced a brand renewal plan and outlined an integrated lubrication solution spanning the upstream and downstream supply chains, with examples from power generation, transmission and transformation, energy storage, and computing power.

The corporate brand will shift from product provider to lubrication solutions specialist, with a refreshed product line-up across Kunlun Tianrun, Kunlun Tianwei, and the industrial range. Tianwei will be the first domestically produced diesel engine oil to achieve D1 (China’s diesel engine oil specification, developed by the China Society for Internal Combustion Engines) certification. The company will roll out a service system it calls a 3.0 delivery safety stage.
