GLB Chemical Services Limited, the Nigerian subsidiary of the Gapuma Group, participated in the 2026 Chevron Oronite Sales Representatives and Distributors Seminar held in Paris earlier this month. Representing the company were GLB Managing Director Prakash Ramchandani and Thompson Longe.

The three-day seminar brought together Chevron Oronite’s global network of distributors and sales representatives for technical discussions, knowledge sharing, and strategic engagement. For GLB, which was appointed Chevron Oronite’s authorized distributor in Nigeria in 2020, the event marked another milestone in a partnership now entering its sixth year. The relationship was further strengthened in 2025 when Gapuma was named Chevron’s Group II base oils distributor for the Nigerian market.

As part of the programme, delegates also toured Chevron Oronite’s manufacturing facility in Le Havre, where they visited the company’s newly commissioned, fully automated warehouse. With a storage capacity of up to 8,200 pallets, the facility highlights the scale, efficiency, and advanced logistics capabilities that support Chevron Oronite’s European supply chain.
